Kidical Mass Bike Ride - 5 July 2026

The Kidical Mass bike ride returns to Hassocks!

After the success last year of our first ever Kidical Mass, when we had over 100 cyclists join us for a bike ride around Hassocks and Ditchling, we're gearing up for another fun and memorable bike ride this July.

Here are the details about this year's Kidical Mass ride, which will take place on Sunday 5th July 2026:

• Riders should gather at 1.30pm in Adastra Park, in the area next to the small car park just north of the bowling green and accessed from Orchard Lane.

• We'll depart at 2pm prompt for a short 'Tour de Hassocks' accompanied by marshalls, flags and lots of fun.

• The ride will be 3 to 4 miles long with no big climbs, and based on last year, our average speed will be around 3 to 4 miles per hour, which is a brisk walking pace.

• The ride is aimed at all ages, but children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

• The route will be risk assessed, and marshalls will repeat last year's training and test ride of the route.
