A safe, supported circle to share feelings and emotions around the climate crisis.
A Climate Café Listening Circle is a welcoming, informal space where people gather to discuss and process their emotions regarding the climate crisis. Rooted in deep listening, these meetings offer a safe, non-judgmental environment to share feelings of eco-grief and anxiety without the pressure to debate or formulate solutions.
Following the NEB screening on July 21st, we welcome you to join us to share your feelings around community, change, and the climate crisis.
A Climate Café Listening Circle:
· Focuses on feelings rather than actions
· Is not a space for discussing or debating climate policy, climate science or specific actions
· Will not offer advice
· Offers a space to reflect, feel and connect with others
The Listening Circle follows a model developed by the Climate Psychology Alliance (CPA) and is based on experience that sharing with others in this way can be very supportive and can help us feel more resilient in the face of the challenges.
It is run by a CPA trained facilitator.
