Greener Hassocks and Ditchling (formally HKD Transition) are holding an exciting launch event coinciding with Hassocks' monthly market and our fantastic Repair Cafe, and the Ditchling and Hurstpierpoint bike swarms.

Please join us at our new 'pop-up climate and community hub', (kindly borrowed for the morning from Duncan) at BN6 Craft Beer and Tap, 54 Keymer Road. HKD Transition has been running since 2009, doing excellent work in our local villages to get people growing, mitigate flooding and to improve our local environment. Not-for-profit offshoot HKD Energy has also created impressive local renewable energy projects.

We have recently welcomed lots of new people to the group and are building on the new enthusiasm and ideas they have brought with a new name that is easy to recognise and clearly shows what we do - with a fresh focus on Hassocks and Ditchling, alongside our sister organisation, Hurst Rethink.
